Trash Pickup Protocol-Harris County MUD #153-Walden on Lake Houston

Service Hours-95-gallon cart service on Tuesday/Friday, no earlier than 7:00 AM and no later than 7:00 PM. Carts must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM.

Garbage Collection-Your garbage collection system now consists of a truck with a hydraulic arm that picks up the cart and dumps it into the top of the truck. These trucks are operated by one driver only, there are no helpers. On normal collection days, all household garbage and yard waste should be put into the cart. On your regular collection days, it is cart contents only. Only Republic carts will be serviced on those days. Carts should be placed at the end of your driveway, next to the curb, within (3) three feet of the street.

Your heavy trash day is the 4th Friday of each month. A rear-load truck with a crew will pick up larger items and yard waste that will not fit into your cart on regular collection days.

An additional cart is available upon request for $9.81 per month. Additionally, if you are handicapped or are unable to push your cart to the street, please contact our customer service department at (713) 635-6666 or you may email us at www.republicservices.com
